A full time Digital Asset Manager & Retoucher is needed for a well known apparel, accessories and home brand based in Agoura Hills. This person will support our Marketing Team and partner with the Creative Producer/Marketing team members in creating and tracking photo retouching tasks, organizing and managing photo assets, communicating and managing timelines with external retouching teams, and retouching/editing images as needed.

Responsibilities

Responsible for organizing, documenting, cataloging, and managing all digital assets for the brand/company, including images, videos, written content, audio, testimonials, reviews, logos and more, in both digital libraries and physical hard drives.Retouching & editing assets up to quality standards including product touch-ups, color corrections, background removal, lighting corrections, compositing shots, resizing/cropping, etc.Edit/retouching asks to be similar to skin editing/retouching, quick color corrections, backdrop touch-ups, dress/apparel edits (wrinkles/stains/seams/straps), etc.Ability to match the tone, color and feel of lifestyle campaign images to the coloring of our previous campaigns.Use efficient file naming and storage practices to maintain sizable asset management libraries to simplify digital asset access within the company. Archiving non-relevant/outdated assets.Provide images to requesting parties, such as the sales team or external partners (like PR requests).Monitor 3rd party channels to ensure images are removed before usage expires. Notify appropriate parties of images being used beyond usage term.Own naming, uploading, and organizing of assets produced by the photo/Marketing team to appropriate locations, such as Dropbox, Vimeo and sales portals like NuOrder and Brandwise. Distribute to appropriate teams upon upload.Organize multiple file types produced by the photo/Marketing team per output: website, high resolution, TIFF, PSD, etc.Own batch retouching process: establish output specifications, upload assets, download retouched/resized images, name, organize, and upload appropriately per project and output needs.Supply and upload e-commerce imagery for the website as requested by the website team.Manage all postproduction processes, procedures and outputs.Collaborate with Creative Producer/Project Manager and Merchandising teams to schedule out asset hand off deadlines to align with product launches.Attend photo shoots and act as on-set color corrector.Manage photo standards for file/image quality, SEO/marketing optimization, aspect ratios and naming conventions for all photo assets and files.Create, manage tasks/assets in asset management programs-Asana, Dropbox.Maintain consistent workflow/cohesiveness throughout projects.Requirements

Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) from four-year College or university in Graphic Design, Photography, or related field3+ years’ experience in professional retouching and photo asset managementManagement (People & Project) experience required.Experience with Adobe Suite, Lightroom, Capture One, Bridge.Asana, NuORDER and MS OfficeMust have experience working with/for a fashion or apparel company.Photo production, management and organization skills required.Highly detail-orientedStrong communication skillsAbility to multitask and capable of working independently or in a team.Ability to excel in a high-volume workflow.Local to LA areaSalary: 75k DOE
