Job Summary:Role is a Sr. Technical Lead that will deliver business solutions on the Sterling B2B platform for Optum. This individual will provide technical expertise for development and system administration of the platform including:•Collaborates with Business and IT stakeholders for requirements gathering, design review, and solution development•Performs business process and custom map solutioning, design and development•Develops, implements, and supports product roadmap within the business unit including upgrades and/or migrations•Deployment of new code across Non-Prod and Production environments•Performs trading partner maintenance, including setting up MFT connections with internal and external clients•Performs file routing setups for both new and existing routes

The individual will also work problem tickets and perform ongoing system maintenance as directed by manager. Must be able to work with global teams and within a matrixed organization. Excellent troubleshooting skills with transaction failures or transfer issues are required. Must take ownership and accountability with work product and drive to meet Service Level Agreement turnaround times with a focus on standardization, supportability and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have 10 to 14 years of experience and possess mandatory skills in IBMMQ on z/OS administration, iSeries/AS400 Administration, and z/OS network administration. This role involves overseeing complex projects, ensuring seamless integration of systems, and driving impactful outcomes for the company and society.

Required Qualifications:•6+ years of experience with Sterling Integrator in an application administration role with duties

including:¿ Production Monitoring and using various monitoring tools¿ Performance optimization¿ Root cause analysis¿ Advanced troubleshooting•7+ years of experience with file transfer protocols such as SFTP, AS2 and Connect: Direct•3 + years of Linux experience including Shell and Perl scripting•3 + years of SQL experience•3+ years of EDI experience•Experience supporting applications running on Linux

Preferred Qualifications:•Experience on various IBM MFT Products/Tools:¿ IBM Sterling Secure Proxy¿ IBM Sterling External Authentication Server¿ IBM Connect Direct¿ RESTful APIs•Knowledge on IBM MQ, IBM Transformation Extender•Knowledge on Cloud technologies like Azure, DevOps methodologies, Containers•Healthcare or Insurance Industry experience•Experience using PragmaEdge Community Manager (PCM)

Roles & Responsibilities:- Lead the planning and execution of multiple projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.- Oversee the administration of IBMMQ on z/OS, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.- Provide expert guidance on iSeries/AS400 Administration, ensuring systems are maintained and upgraded as needed.- Manage z/OS network administration, ensuring secure and efficient network operations.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of various systems and applications.- Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise.- Communicate project status, updates, and outcomes to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in system administration and network management.- Provide training and support to team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance system performance and efficiency.- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and innovation.- Contribute to the company's purpose by ensuring the reliable and secure operation of critical systems, benefiting both the organization and society.
