Radiology Partners Indiana - NIR is seeking a
Radiology Physician Assistant, with CBRPA and ARRT certification , who will assist the attending Radiologist team in the management of patients for both the Franciscan Health hospital and practice in Crown Point, Indiana. Responsible for participation in departmental and hospital programs for quality assessment and improvement, identifying opportunities to improve services, making recommendations, and implementing actions as appropriate and consistent with Radiology Partners goals.
POSITION SUMMARY
Schedule | Monday - Friday | 7am - 4:30pm CSTPerform or assist with the following procedures:
Fluoroscopy proceduresPICC LinesParacentesis/thoracentesisLumbar PuncturesFNA BxPerform physical examinations, determine medical histories, diagnose, and treat illnesses and/or injuriesDevelop and implement patient management plans and record progress notesPerform history and physical examinations of Interventional Radiology patientsField phone calls from patients, referring physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals regarding patients to identify potential areas of concern in the medical management of the patientsEducate patients on their medical careOther duties as assignedDESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Licensed as a Radiology Physician Assistant in the state of IndianaGraduate AMA accredited programCertification Board for Radiology Practitioner Assistants (CBRPA) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification REQUIREDCritical Care experience a plusCertification by the National Commission of Physician Assistants or ANCCCertified to perform Basic Life Support and ACLSBENEFITS
