Key Responsibilities:
1. Security Strategy Development
Policy Creation:
Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures tailored to organizational needs.Risk Assessment:
Identify, assess, and prioritize potential security risks and vulnerabilities.Security Planning:
Craft and implement comprehensive security plans to protect digital assets.2. Threat Detection & Prevention
Threat Monitoring:
Continuously monitor network traffic and system activities to detect suspicious behavior.Incident Response:
Lead and manage the response to security incidents, including data breaches and cyber-attacks.Preventative Measures:
Design and deploy security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-virus solutions.3. Compliance & Governance
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).Audit Preparation:
Prepare and support internal and external security audits.Documentation:
Maintain thorough documentation of security protocols, incidents, and recovery plans.4. Security Awareness & Training
Employee Training:
Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness training programs to educate employees.Best Practices:
Promote security best practices and foster a culture of security within the organization.5. Systems Management
Access Control:
Manage and enforce user access controls and identity verification processes.Data Encryption:
Implement data encryption technologies to protect sensitive information.Patch Management:

Technical Expertise
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years in a cybersecurity role with hands-on experience in threat analysis, incident response, and security operations.Certifications:
CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent certifications.Tools & Technologies:
Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection software.Knowledge of Standards:
Familiarity with security frameworks like NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, and COBIT.Analytical Abilities
Risk Analysis:
Strong ability to assess and quantify security risks and recommend mitigation strategies.Problem Solving:
