Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Jira-Confluence Developer to join our team in supporting the Department of the Navy. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in problem solving and software development. Your contributions will be crucial in enhancing the functionality and efficiency of the Navy's Jira-Confluence environment. This position requires a blend of technical proficiency, creativity, and a solid understanding of data integration and reporting tools.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop software enhancements to Jira-Confluence capabilities to support customer's needsMaintain and enhance Jira-Confluence apps to support the Department of the Navy's integration of workflows and documentationCreate custom Jira-Confluence workflows and reports, ensuring they meet user requirements and are user-friendlyCollaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide effective solutionsMaintain and update Jira-Confluence applications and workflows to improve efficiency and functionalityEnsure all developments are in compliance with Department of the Navy's cybersecurity standards and protocolsProvide technical support and training to end-users on Jira-Confluence functionalityBasic Qualifications
CompTIA Security+ or IAM II or higher CertificationMinimum of 3 years of experience in Java development, including JavaScript, Java Server Pages, and other programming technologiesDemonstrated expertise in Jira-ConfluenceExperience developing in the front end, backend, and middleware tiersProficiency in XML and JSONKnowledge of how to interface with SQL ServerAbility to obtain and maintain a government security clearanceStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailPreferred Qualifications
Software Development certificationBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related fieldPrior experience working with the Department of the Navy or other military/government environmentsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersProactive, team-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
