We are relentless with our continuous improvement philosophy as well as our equipment, software and human capabilities, employing the brightest minds and the newest equipment (FUJI NXT III SMT, Automated climate-controlled inventory towers, 5D X-Rays, in-line SPI's and AOI's, on-site Nitrogen Generation, etc.). Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Communicates and listens effectively in a professional and courteous manner. Must be organized and maintain professionalism at all times. Cooperates with supervisors, co-workers and works as a team. Organized, adaptable, professional and able to follow instructions. Proficient in Microsoft office Tools, ie, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Able to work directly with customer's engineering group to improve designs and enhance processes. Manage the document control department to provide timely internal and external projects on time. Acquire basic working knowledge of company services to assist staff with various functions. Will need knowledge of all SMT equipment with experience programming printers, SPI, pick and place, reflow oven and AOI. Ability to interpret 2D x-ray images as well as 5DX x-ray images. (programming is a plus). AutoCAD or Solid works experience/knowledge. Experience creating and debugging oven reflow profiles. Understanding the temperatures in both Fahrenheit & Celsius. Technical understanding of the functions of machinery both mechanically, electrically and software with the ability to troubleshoot. Selective and Wave solder experience which includes programming and technical support. Able to interpret assembly and fab drawings and the requirement within. Experience writing pre and post build DFM reports. Defect review/root cause analysis with resolution. Ability to work with other Engineers / and all floor Personal. Experience with Stencil Design using Gerbers, CAD and any other design tools. Experience with Rework processes. Hot Air, BGA repair, Wash/PCA cleaning and routine solder iron rework. Knowledge of label creation programming and understanding of bar-codes. Class 1 3 IPC and J-STD training. Technology Development

Assists the Engineering & Technology Leader in researching industry trends, establishes technology roadmap to ensure Microboard maintains a competitive advantage in the markets we serve with leading edge equipment and capabilities Expected outcomes:

Ongoing assessment and reporting of internal capabilities vs market requirements in support of Microboard's ability to reliably meet existing and future customer requirements Monitors and identifies impact and mitigations of disruptive technologies on the business Leadership team is consistently informed on latest EMS technology trends and market requirements in support of strategic planning process. Primary focus on equipment and technical staff investments

Sales & Customer Support

Partners with Engineering & Technology Leader and the VP of Business Development in the sales prospecting process, provides technical support, engages with customer engineering staff, provides input regarding customer selection and portfolio management Key contributor to quoting process, provides technology fit, technical assessment and DFM inputs in support of comprehensive, accurate quotations Partners with program management to support existing customer requirements and new sales opportunities. Considers internal capabilities vs. evolving customer design requirements New Product Introduction

Provides direct support of Documentation Control team Supports a robust structured NPI process and assists the Engineering & Technology Leader supports the dedicated NPI engineering team that results in a competitive advantage for Microboard. Deliverables include:

DFM/DFT program to support a robust quotation process, ensure quality, reliability and cost management Manufacturing process development in the pre-production phase Quick turn production of new products Robust component program

Regulatory requirements & Declarations (Conflict Minerals, RoHs, Reach) Component obsolescence and product lifecycle management

Operations Support

Assists the Engineering & Technology Leader with new equipment selection Supports Quality and Manufacturing Engineering teams with validation planning and execution as required Assists the Engineering & Technology Leader with providing technical support to Manufacturing Engineering (Process and Test organizations) as needed to resolve complex manufacturing issues Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or other engineering discipline or equivalent experience and education 10 year's experience in electronic manufacturing services and minimum 5 years working with new product introductions SMT Manufacturing or EMS experience required Extensive knowledge of all PCBA processes, high level assemblies and box build Client/Customer facing experience required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate with customers and suppliers Lean/Six Sigma experience required, Black Belt certification preferred Ability to lead change and experience with leading change; transformation experience required Ability to lead and experience with managing with integrity, coaching, mentoring and developing staff Proficient with Microsoft Office tools - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project Experience with PCB design and CAD tools; Valor, Cadence, Cam 350, Autocad, Solidworks, etc. Ability to lead and manage projects Understanding of business finance required Experience in a regulated industry such as aerospace, defense or medical device Education and/or Experience:

Associates and/or B.A., B.S., Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field. Prior on-the-job experience of at least 5 plus years in same or similar industry. Demonstrated positive Customer Service demeanor. Superior written and oral communication skills. Strong technical background with the understanding of circuit card and box build assemblies. Language Skills:

Ability to read and speak English fluently. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving simple variables in standardized (normal) situations.
