Marin Community Clinics, founded in 1972, is today, a multi-clinic network with a wide array of integrated primary care, dental, behavioral, specialty and referral services. As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we provide vital health services to almost 40,000 individuals annually in Marin County. The Clinics regularly receive national awards from the Health Resources and Services Administrations (HRSA). Our Mission is to promote health and wellness through excellent, compassionate care for all.Dentist handles all aspects of general dentistry. Diagnoses and treats patients consistent with her/his training and expertise.Responsibilities:Providing preventative dental care and clinical dental services in a community health center setting.Uses EPIC and digital Dexis X-ray.Delivers high quality care to patients.Manages and directs staff assignments and activities in accordance with Marin Community Clinics, Dental Compliance Policies and Procedures, Dental Manual, and applicable California Laws.Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:Education and Experience:Graduate of ADA Accredited Dental School.Must possess a valid DDS/DMD License to practice in California.BLS Certification.DEA License.1 to 2 years of experience in general dentistry (GPR or AEGD a plus).Prior experience working in community health environment a plus.Prior experience working with children preferred.Oral surgery and Endodontics experience preferred.Familiar with Electronic Health Records a plus.Required Skills and Abilities:Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.Flexible to work evenings and weekends as necessary in either San Rafael and/or Novato clinics.Must possess good interpersonal skills to maintain and establish good relationships with dental team and patients.Strong computer skills and experience with healthcare databases and applications.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to keep detailed records.Good management skills.Keep abreast of the latest developments in dentistry. Ongoing training required.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:May be required to occasionally lift at least 20 25lbs.Finger dexterity, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to discern reverse images.Prolonged stand, stooping, twisting, bending, reaching and working on a computer.Benefits:Our mission informs our approach to your benefits program.
