but no sooner than three days from now.JOB DUTIES:May develop initial draft project scopes/budgets with significant input required from others.Assists with competitive proposal development.May lead proposal efforts for smaller projects.Often led the development of project calculations and deliverables.Manage the scope, budget, and schedule (with oversight) for small—or mid-sized projects or major tasks on large, multidisciplinary projects.Executes less-defined technical and engineering tasks.Fieldwork and CAD drafting responsibilities range from limited to extensive.May perform part-time construction inspection, and rarely full-time.Regular client interactions through projects.Often serve as day-to-day primary contact.Help secure repeat clients through project performance and professional persona.Limited contact with client management staff and elected officialsProactively communicate with supervisor on professional development desires & needs.Actively participate in team endeavors and, possibly, SGM initiatives and committees.Provide informal mentoring to Engineer I, II, and other junior staff members.May have a direct report.Help secure repeat clients through project performance. Help acquire new business by recognizing and communicating with a supervisor about business opportunities through clients, projects, etc.Develop close working relationships with client staff. Assist with identifying new opportunities with existing clients.Participate in developing/implementing team business development plans and strategies. May participate in "thought leadership" activities.Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:B.S. in Civil Engineering or related fieldPE Certification or ability to obtain in the first year of employmentMinimum 5-10 years engineering work experienceOrganized, fast learner, and detail-orientedAbility to execute well-defined technical and engineering tasksStrong familiarity and working knowledge of the AutoCAD Civil 3D design software, with an interest in expanding the CAD knowledge base.Ability to use Civil 3D as a design tool.Strong written and verbal communication skillsValid Driver’s LicenseAbility to pass a Motor Vehicle Records checkPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Experience in Geotechnical EngineeringExperience in Structural EngineeringExperience in Geotechnical EngineeringJurisdictional Dam DesignSurveying experienceGPS/GIS experienceConstruction project administration and oversight experienceM.S. in civil engineering or related fieldAn active member of relevant professional organizationsDemonstrated initiative and participation in community involvement and outreachSoftware experience/proficiencyAdvanced design knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D,
