A hospital system in Staten Island is looking for a Pulmonary-Critical Care Physician to join there growing team.
Responsibilities:
The Pulmonologist will: Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations related to respiratory symptoms Work 80% Pulmonary cases, 20% Critical Care Procedures. Evaluate patients with breathing difficulties, chronic cough, chest pain, and other respiratory issues Order and interpret diagnostic tests Analyze and interpret laboratory results to aid in diagnosis Develop comprehensive treatment plans based on the diagnosis Prescribe appropriate medications Manage chronic respiratory diseases Provide education on disease management and lifestyle adjustments Manage patients in critical condition Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications:
Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York Board Eligible / Certified in Pulmonology Fellowship trained Desired Skills:
