A hospital system in Staten Island is looking for a Pulmonary-Critical Care Physician to join there growing team.
Responsibilities:
The Pulmonologist will:Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations related to respiratory symptomsWork 80% Pulmonary cases, 20% Critical Care Procedures.Evaluate patients with breathing difficulties, chronic cough, chest pain, and other respiratory issuesOrder and interpret diagnostic testsAnalyze and interpret laboratory results to aid in diagnosisDevelop comprehensive treatment plans based on the diagnosisPrescribe appropriate medicationsManage chronic respiratory diseasesProvide education on disease management and lifestyle adjustmentsManage patients in critical conditionPerform other duties, as neededQualifications:
Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New YorkBoard Eligible / Certified in PulmonologyFellowship trainedDesired Skills:
