Utilizing your creativity and innovative engineering skills, you'll participate in teams supporting experiment design, materials, equipment setup and related issues as well as perform research and engineering laboratory functions.

Be a member of a development team responsible for designing, developing, refactoring, testing and maintaining new features and improve existing code base Develop web based and mobile software applications in support of Progeny's innovative, high quality engineering solutions in an agile environment. Participate in all phases of the Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Familiarity with software engineering disciplines from requirements development to validation. Strong skills in use of JAVA and JAVA EE development tools. Strong organizational and analytical skills as well as practical problem-solving and decision skills. Experience in the design and development of software applications using multiple technologies including, but not limited to Java, .NET, SQL, Web Services, JavaScript, and XML languages. Experience with relational databases is desired. Experience with containerization technologies, e.g., Docker or Kubernetes is desired. Experience with Agile development process is desired. Workplace Options:
This position can be either 100% On-Site at Facility located in Lakewood, OH or Flex
Target salary range: USD $74,050.40/Yr. - USD $82,149.60/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Agile experience preferred.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
