This role also serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in their designated market.Work with Office Manager and Regional Operations Director to create and execute sales plansDevelop performance plans for Business Development ManagersLead the organization’s business development activities in order to achieve annual new business revenue and growth goalsDeliver regular reports on the status of the Business Development pipeline and marketing/outreach activitiesGrow SAM’s Business Development pipeline by cultivating new leads and relationships with potential clientsProvide executive level consultation to clients on all aspects of their brand development needs and the servicesEngage in proposal contributions from SME staff members (including creative needs)Develop proposal approach/strategy based on the requirements outlined within an RFPWork alongside other senior leadership to develop pitch strategy and pitch teamAssist with client meetings by conducting background research, developing a strategy/approach and determining profit marginsServe as a lead representative of SMEs at industry events and conferencesFormulate Business Development forecastsPerform other tasks as assigned to help accomplish the company’s strategic goalsWhat You Bring to SAMBachelor’s degree strongly preferred, or equivalent education and experience5+ years of experience in similar industry sales successExperience with Salesforce is preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)Capable of working both individually and as a part of a very dynamic team of professionals.Above average leadership, attention to detail, and organizational, interpersonal, and team-oriented skillsAbility to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlinesOpportunity for hybrid work schedules for office positions – Work-life balance is on usCompany paid premiums for medical, dental, vision, LTD and life insurance (HSA and FSA plans available)Generous paid time off (vacation, sick, holidays and parental leave) – Accrual starts immediately401(k) program offers 100% employer match up to 5%Paid continuing education courses and tuition reimbursementEmployee Assistance Program – Your mental health is our priorityNo glass ceiling!
