Job Description
Our client, a not-for-profit teaching hospital serving an ethnically diverse residential neighborhood of New York City, is hiring a Nocturnist.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive medical care to patients during overnight shiftsConduct physical examinations and assessments of patientsDiagnose and treat various medical conditionsDevelop and implement treatment plansProvide ongoing patient care and follow-upCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient careManage acute medical emergencies and stabilize patientsDocument patient encounters accurately and thoroughly
Requirements:
MD or DOBoard certified/eligible in Family Medicine or Internal MedicineLicensed to practice in the State of New YorkPost-residency experience in family or internal medicineAbility to manage complex patient cases and make sound medical decisionsProficiency in airway management, including intubation and ventilationFamiliarity with triage protocols and ability to prioritize patient careThe ability to work overnight shifts on a regular basisSelf-motivated, detail-oriented, and possessing excellent communication skillsJob Perks:
