Production Artist

Effy Jewelry, a premier name in fine jewelry, is known for its distinctive, bold, and colorful designs. With over 150 boutiques worldwide, Effy Jewelry offers a unique and vibrant shopping experience to its clientele, underpinned by a commitment to excellence and innovation in jewelry design.We are looking for an experienced production artist who can support our creative team to execute a wide array of design projects. You will be responsible for creating and editing graphics and images for a variety of media, including emails, digital ads, and print collaterals. This includes, but is not limited to, data entry, typesetting, image manipulation, art creation or modification and asset versioning. Must be creative, and technical with excellent computer skills and knowledge of relevant software applications, including InDesign, Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator. The production artist must have the ability to multitask on multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment and work well under pressure.Key responsibilities:Create and produce design layouts that support the project objectivesWork with brand standards and guidelinesWork closely with creative / art directors, copywriters and marketing directors to execute the creative visionPrep final files to supply specifications for various print and digital formatsReformat supplied artwork and photo project specificationsCreate PDFs for creative reviewRetouch, clip paths, and make adjustments to image filesCollect final artwork and manage the asset management system to ensure design work can be used in future projectsWork efficiently through high volumes, meeting tight deadlinesAttend weekly team meetings to ensure clear communication of deliverables and progressCreate layout comps, rough and presentation materials as requestedMaintain accuracy in page building and error-free documentsMake corrects and modifications to team markup as requestedDemonstrate the ability to perform well and remain organized under tight deadlinesAct as liaison between the creative team and pre-press (for printed projects)Requirements and Qualifications :Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field2-4 years of related experience and/or trainingExpert Proficiency in all Mac-based, industry-standard software programs including, but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop Illustrator), Figma, Microsoft Office, and Acrobat.Knowledge of the Windows platformExperience in project management tool (Asana)Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (speak, read, and write)Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated drive for perfectionStrong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.Ability to prepare art for print/ production or manufactureGeneral knowledge of substrates and mediaAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization existsAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Effy Jewelry is committed to diversity in its workplace and is proud to offer equal employment opportunities to all persons regardless of age, color, national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, genetic information, marital status, veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristic in the location in which the candidate is applying.
