The Junior Brand Ambassador (BA) is responsible for the management and growth of their assigned department store accounts. The Junior BA will sell-in and present Maui Jim sunglasses across a portfolio of optical and specialty accounts.The primary responsibilities and essential duties of this position are:Responsible for independently managing assigned accountsResponsible for team-related tasks, including, but not limited to, monthly sell-out reports, copy, and market prep, sample requests, etc.Meet account-level sales targets and contribute to achieving the total channel sales targetsMaximize account retail sales & maintain comfortable inventory liabilityUtilize data and analytics reports to ensure both internal and external targets are achieved, analyzing business by style, and SKU, as well as by region & door levelManage and grow current accounts while consistently looking for new business opportunitiesPartner closely with cross-functional departments- customer service, marketing, field service, planning, and credit to manage daily business needs, execute 360 campaigns that ensure account satisfaction and sales growth for both the client and Maui Jim.Partner with customer service to ensure proper management and flow of order portfolioAnticipate Key Account challenges, customer needs and impediments; provide solutions and programs for improvement and seek out opportunities for positive change and new growth.Partner with assigned accounts to manage eCommerce assortmentsProvide SKU level forecasts based on sales analysis and knowledge of accountsSupport market appointments including product presentation & assortment building, making recommendations based on sales performance and trendRegular visits to key markets to perform product knowledge seminars; ensure visual merchandising standards, and to promote brand awareness and worldwide strategyResolve client issues and concerns in a timely fashion and anticipate needs and concerns of accounts to avoid issues in sales/productivityRepresentative of the Kering brand always, demonstrating professionalismBe hands on and willing to assist in all areas of the businessDesired QualificationsAs a guide, indicated below is the preferred education and experience for this position:Bachelor’s Degree1-3 years of work experience in relevant role/industrySkills preferred for this position:Must be proficient in ExcelAnalytical/data-drivenAbility to organize and manage own workloadFamiliar with market trends, up-to-date knowledge of the wholesale fashion and lifestyle marketAdept at building relationships with retail partners (i.e., buyers, planners, marketing contacts, stores, as well as upper management)Comfortable negotiating to achieve favorable outcome for both parties
