PSYCHIATRY, Outpatient Medical Director
Typical day is a mix of new and established patients for med services including medication reviews.Additionally, clinical supervision of mid-level providers.Patient mix – general population encompassing the full developmental lifespan with emphasis on teen and adult-aged individuals.Typical patient volume – 3 established patients per hour, for new patients to med services, they currently allow an hour for the initial eval, with a maximum of two new patient evals a day. For transfers from one of the other med providers on staff, we allow a ½ hour for the first appointment.The provider will have the support of the therapists, case managers, receptionist and medical assistant/nurse.Patients will often have case management and other community-based services.Substance Use disorder treatment (including MAT) is available.Compensation & Benefits:HPSA Approved Site for possible student loan repayment.Student loan repayment possible thru contract service duration.Relocation expenses.Signing Bonus.Malpractice paid.Health Insurance, CME leave and stipend.Up to 5 weeks of vacation per year with tenure.10 holidays plus 120 hours sick leave and 56 hours emergency leave each year.Paternity/maternity/adoptive leave.KPERS pension retirement plan.403 (b) and/or 457 plans.Community Description:Practice in a family oriented community, with beautiful neighborhoods, affordable housing and strong Midwestern values.
