Overview:The contractor shall investigate and analyze characteristics of human behavior and performance as it relates to the use of technology and weapon systems.Independently perform Human Factors Assessments (HFA) to research and evaluate Human Machine Interface (HMI) and Human Factors Engineering (HFE).The contractor shall assist in design documentation, interface specification, and requirements development to ensure compliance with specified sections of Military Standards.Participates in the use of advanced engineering modeling and simulation tools, instrumentation and measurement and design of experiments.The contractor shall support 8 performance analysis, artifact development and compliance summaries.The contractor shall collaborate with Design Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to ensure evolving designs addresses program needs and adhere to Human Interface design requirements.Collaborate with military and non-military users, systems engineers, software developers, customer representatives, and UI/UX designers to ensure evolving designs are user-centered and ultimately compatible with expected military end-users.Generate and iteratively refine journey maps, user flows, task analyses, and other research artifacts to capture intended user-system interactions at both the macro and micro levels.These artifacts will be used to generate targeted UI/UX designs and inform the product team.
