Responsible for delivering company products to customers in a timely fashion and ensure smooth and consistent operation to satisfy customer requirements.Duties include operating a commercial vehicle on roadways, collecting monies due and processing appropriate paperwork.Maintains compliance under FMCSA.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
Deliver assigned orders to customer accounts in a safe, timely and efficient manner while complying with FMCSA regulationsMaintain route expectations and standards set by managersRead invoices and manifests to ensure appropriate products are delivered to each customer in a designated timeframeAssemble customer orders and place product in storage or account specific designated areasWork safely at all times and notify the company of any safety related issues immediatelyComplete a pre and post trip inspection of the truck and communicate any needed repairs to the mechanicMaintain good communication and relations with internal and external customersProvide continuous improvement feedback and communication to managementWork with and support customer service and sales teams to improve daily productivityComply with company safety standards, Department of Transportation regulations, Alcoholic Beverage Control regulations and warehouse delivery policies and proceduresEnsure load is secured to prevent breakageComplete necessary paperwork related to deliveries and collect payments from customersAssist with effectively managing returns processingKeep interior and exterior of truck clean and organizedReport all mispicks/shorts to managementDaily compliance with electronic driver logsAdhere to internal training outlined by your supervisor, such as Badger University, Driver Ambassador Program, etc.May be required to attend company meetings on non-scheduled work daysMay assist in warehouse when neededMay be required to flex hours to support all areas of the businessAdditional duties as assigned by managementWHAT WE VALUE

A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) preferredCommercial Driver License (CDL), Class B preferredA minimum of one (1) to two (2) years CDL driving experience preferredValid driver license and satisfactory driving record requiredExperience in a distribution and/or sales environment preferred
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT
Due to the fast paced, highly physical demands of the position, job candidates will be required to complete a Post Offer Pre-Employment Physical (POPE).Job candidates must pass all aspects of the POPE to qualify for the position.
