Job Details
Our Preconstruction and Estimating team is looking to add a Lead Estimator to our Cincinnati Office.
Lead and develop conceptual and detailed estimates for General Contracting work. Develop labor productivity, contingency and escalation analyses. Develop budgets at early stages of design, relying on historical reference points and communication with designers and consultants. Identify, evaluate, and communicate project risks. Review projects for cost-effectiveness and assess value alternatives. Analyze the development of documents and estimate the associated changes. Participate in scope of work development and subcontract agreements to ensure projects are fully coordinated between all disciplines. Recommend a procurement strategy and manage the bid solicitation process. Lead the internal review process for responsible work. Assist in owner presentations. Maintain historical cost information. Aid field operations with change order pricing if needed. Build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain a competitive advantage for the team. Develop and communicate qualifications for the basis of the estimate to internal and external team members.
