What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage multiple Generation and/or Transmission projects of considerable size, diversity, complexity, and riskDevelop project plans, budgets, and schedules to achieve project objectivesLead and manage a team of skilled engineers, designers, and other project support staffEnsure projects meet or exceed internal and external (client) expectationsIdentify and manage project risks and ensure timely completion
What Is Required (Qualifications)
University degree in engineering or relevant professional qualifications7+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the power industry or similar fieldStrong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practicesExperience with industry scheduling systems and MS Office suiteExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Previous experience in utilities, renewable energy, and transmission/distributionFamiliarity with Hydro One projectsDemonstrated experience in developing project execution plans and budgetsExperience in preparing proposals for clientsStrong negotiation and interpersonal skills
