SAP Techno-Functional Specialist Information Systems Section Company Overview: Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc. or "SIA", located in Lafayette, Indiana, is the only Subaru vehicle manufacturing facility outside of Japan. SIA is a 4.4 million square foot automotive OEM - meaning our manufacturing process begins with coils of steel and ends with the high-quality vehicles you see out on the roads. We employ 6500 Associates, both production and administrative, all under one roof. SIA is the safest automotive manufacturing plant in the United States and is also a pillar in the community due to its numerous fundraising activities held onsite, donations to local charities and plentiful volunteer opportunities. SIA is a frontrunner in environmental conservation being the first Zero-Landfill automotive manufacturing plant and the first to have its campus designated a backyard wildlife habitat. SIA has grown tremendously since its 1989 beginnings and continues to be an example of success within the automotive industry. Outline of duties: Collaborate closely with SIA management and business users to define SAP and related system. requirements and specifications and identify and resolve business system issues. Contribute accurate effort and resource estimates to SAP-related project plans. Facilitate and take the lead role in the delivery and support of the development portion of projects/programs within specified functional area(s). Creates systems models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to application. developers. Work seamlessly with developers both internal and external to deliver high quality solutions. Coordinate all development aspects for all configuration and custom objects, including reports, interfaces, conversion programs, database design and creation, enhancements. Coordinates and performs in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems. Coordinates activities simultaneously for multiple projects. Modify solutions to fix errors, adapt to new hardware or runtimes, improve performance, or upgrade software versions. All other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience. 5 years' experience in SAP ECC 6.0 / S4 HANA. Strong general knowledge of SAP architecture and administration Broad functional and technical knowledge of SAP solutions, particularly FICO, MM, SD, and WM/EWM, and Ariba Lead and Support all SD and/or MM/EWM related activities, including supervision of onsite consultants and offshore support Prepare test plans and scripts and perform unit, integration, and regression testing. Perform system regression testing for new releases or upgrades to SAP. Excellent communication and leadership skills Desired Qualifications: Experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with SAP PP, PS, and/or EWM Experience working with S/4 HANA in a private cloud environment. Experience integrating SAP with legacy applications. SAP certification(s) strongly preferred.
