Are you a dedicated and experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon seeking a rewarding locum tenens opportunity in a vibrant community near Marysville, WA?
We're actively searching for a skilled physician to join our team at Auburn Orthopedics and Sports Medicine and provide essential orthopaedic care on a call-only basis (ASAP - Ongoing).
This locum tenens position offers a flexible schedule with predictable call blocks, allowing you to manage your workload effectively while contributing to exceptional patient care.
What We Offer:Rewarding & Specialized Practice:
Utilize your expertise in orthopaedic surgery to manage a variety of orthopaedic conditions, including trauma cases, in our supportive inpatient setting. You'll work collaboratively with a dedicated team to ensure timely and high-quality care for patients requiring admissions and postoperative care (bed count and typical patient volume not available).Predictable Call Schedule with Work-Life Balance:
Enjoy a predictable call schedule with a call burden of approximately 12-14 days per month. This includes one 7-day block and one 5-day block, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance outside of call hours.Option for Surgicalist Daily Duties:
In addition to call coverage, you may have the opportunity to participate in scheduled surgical procedures (details to be discussed during the application process).Supportive Team Collaboration:
Work alongside a team of orthopaedic surgeons, nurses, surgical technicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care for your patients.Advanced Technology & Resources:
Utilize the user-friendly Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system to enhance efficiency in documentation and communication.Streamlined Credentialing Process (for qualified candidates):
We understand the importance of timely care and are happy to assist with facilitating temporary privileges for qualified applicants with a clean history (estimated timeframe of 60 days).Qualifications:
Board-eligible or board-certified in Orthopaedic Surgery is required. Fellowship training is preferred.Active medical license in Washington (WA) only is mandatory.Current certification in BLS is essential.Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an orthopaedic surgery setting is preferred.The ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating sound judgment and critical thinking skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.A commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality, patient-centered care.Additional Information:
