Mother/Baby Technician - Full Time Nights (7P - 7A)

Mother/Baby Care Technician works with the health care team and all responsibilities are to be conducted under the direction and collaboration of an RN and according to established policies, procedures and guidelines. Performs assigned patient care and observation duties under the direction of a Registered Nurse or LPN. Prepares room to receive patient by setting up necessary equipment and ensuring neatness and cleanliness of room. Helps to maintain Newborn Nursery to ensure appropriate care of infants. High school diploma or GED is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
Frequently exposed to blood and/or body fluids or potentially infective materials. Requires constant hearing, speaking, vision and repetitive hand movement. Requires attention to detail despite frequent interruptions.
