We are looking for a Network Administrator to join our dynamic team at County Materials in Westmont, IL.
The Network Administrator plays a crucial role in managing and maintaining an organization's server, network, and security infrastructure. They are responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the network, minimizing the risk of downtime and data loss, and maintaining the security of the organization's network and data. Additionally, they provide technical support to end-users, assisting them in enhancing their productivity and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network administration, possess in-depth knowledge of network protocols and security principles, and have excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities: Manage the organization's server, network, and security infrastructure.Ensure the smooth operation of the network infrastructure.Minimize the risk of network downtime and data loss.Maintain the security of the organization's network and data.Provide technical support to end-users, improving their productivity and efficiency.
Duties: Manage and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.Design, install and configure network hardware and software.Monitor network performance and identify and resolve issues.Oversee administration and ensure the security of the organization's network and data by implementing firewalls and other security measures.Conduct regular backups of critical data and implement disaster recovery plans.Implement and maintain network security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and VPNs.Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control.Provide technical support to end-users and troubleshoot network issues as needed.
Qualifications: 3-5 years of proven experience as a network administrator or in a similar role.In-depth knowledge of network protocols, equipment, and technologies.Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery procedures.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work well in a team and independently.Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are preferred.
Educational Requirement: Associate degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
