JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:Provides high-quality, coordinated, comprehensive, team-based, and patient-centered care for patients of The Queen's Health System's (QHS) hospitals and clinics, and other hospitals and clinics, as applicable in the area of pulmonology and/or sleep medicine.Works cooperatively within collaborative practice models.Supports The Queen's Medical Center's (QMC) vision and values to enhance the provision of quality health care and optimize the health status of patients, and supports QMC's Mission to fulfill the intent of Queen Emma and King Kamehameha IV to provide in perpetuity quality health care services to improve the well-being of Native Hawaiians and all of the people of Hawai`i.CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides inpatient and/or outpatient medical and procedural pulmonology and/or sleep medicine services, as directed by Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep Medicine (PCCSM) Leadership.Continues post-graduate education as required by applicable licensing laws and as requested by QUMG, QHS, and QMC.May engage in academic/clinical education, training, supervision, evaluation, and research.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine or EC FMG certification.Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Hawaii.Completion of a fellowship training program in Pulmonary Medicine and/or Sleep Medicine, approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).Current board certification in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and/or Sleep Medicine by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty certification board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). If not board certified, board certification must be obtained within two (2) years of entrance into the position.During the period of employment, shall be and remain a member of applicable QHS hospitals' medical staffs in good standing with appropriate privileges without restriction.Three (3) years of experience in Internal Medicine preferred.Three (3) years of experience in Pulmonary and/or Sleep Medicine preferred.Qualified for faculty appointment with the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine, preferred.

Base salary begins at $347,037/year with opportunity for productivity and quality incentives.
