Position Summary:
Supports the Distribution Center in Shipping, Receiving, Packaging or Returns.
Position Responsibilities:•Inspect, sort, store and perform data entry for all core, inbound part/unit shipments, and returned goods according to established TS procedures.•Issue OS & D reports for non-compliant shipments according to TS procedures. •Pick and pack assigned parts according to shop order pick tags or use of RF hand held devices.•Support further shop order activity by picking parts for shop unit builds, fulfillment of Kan-Ban systems and completing return to stock transactions.•As needed, transfer stock physically and electronically using computer and/or RF guns.•Pick and pack customer orders by unit/parts according to order notes.•Weight, route, stage and load freight according to order notes and carrier shipping instructions.•Operate the Reach, Manup & Sitdown Forklifts. Operate Wav and Walkie rider as needed. Use hand carts.•Support safety and good housekeeping in this performance of Distribution Center duties.•Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education, Skills & Experience :
High School diploma or GED required.Previous distribution/warehouse experience .Basic PC skills required (on/off, read screen, toggle, use mouse, check inventory)Forklift experience and proper use of hand tools required.Preferred Skills and experience:
Intermediate PC skills preferred.Exposure to TQM's and TS/QS 9000Working knowledge of ZF part numbers and ZF part names a plus.
Reporting to Position : Reports to Distribution Center Supervisor, has no direct reports.

Physical demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is required to stand for extended periods of time; 60 minutes continuously up to 6 hours per 10 hour day, walk up to 2 miles per day, handle or feel objects and/or tools; operate power tools; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop; bend, verbally communicate; and hear safety indicators. The associate must occasionally lift and /or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of the job, the associate is exposed to a warehouse environment with some office exposure.
