If you are looking for an engaging, high-energy position, this opportunity is perfect for youPosition Overview:The Corporate Development Analyst will play a crucial role in driving our company's growth through strategic acquisitions and integrations. This position focuses on buy-side deal flow, including financial due diligence (FDD), market research, valuation, and post-merger integration activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, experience in financial due diligence, and a passion for the medical device industry.With an annual deal flow in the double digits, this position offers significant exposure to M&A activities and provides a valuable opportunity to actively participate in deal decision-making, greatly enhancing your career development.Key Responsibilities:Buy-Side Deal Flow Management:Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets in the medical device sector.Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to support deal sourcing and decision-making processes.Perform detailed financial modeling, valuation analysis, and risk assessments for potential acquisitions.Prepare investment memos and presentations for executive leadership and board meetings.Financial Due Diligence (FDD):Lead financial due diligence efforts for potential acquisitions, including the analysis of financial statements, quality of earnings, working capital, and cash flow.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.Coordinate with third-party advisors and consultants to ensure thorough and accurate due diligence.Integration Planning and Execution:Develop integration plans for newly acquired companies, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and objectives.Work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless integration of acquired businesses, focusing on operational, financial, and cultural aspects.Monitor post-merger integration progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.Strategic Analysis and Reporting:Support the corporate development team in the preparation of strategic plans, financial forecasts, and performance reports.Provide ongoing analysis of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.Assist in the development and maintenance of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of acquisitions and integrations.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
