In this role, you will be responsible for tracking and analyzing the performance of short and long-term projects.You will be working closely with program managers and other internal/external stakeholders to optimize program budgeting and identify potential risks.Primary Responsibilities:Budgeting, tracking, and forecasting of short and long term projectsProject costing and pricing support for new businessCustomer and IRAD projects financial progress reportingBookings, billings and revenue forecastingGross margin reports and analysis on projectsIdentify and assess project financial risksBudget variance analysis and corrective recommendationsProject cash flow projectionsInventory tracking on projectsDevelop and implement financial models, project cost controls, and ROI analysisProvide ad hoc financial analysis and supportAny other job-related issues as required by the business and managementMonitor industry trends and economic factors to determine potential impacts on project costsRequirements
Recommended Experience/Education:Min 2+ years of FP&A/programs experienceBA/BS degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related quantitative majorsExperience in costing NRE in the Military and/or Space industryManufacturing and BOM Costing experienceRecommended Skills/Requirements:Excellent analytical skills and ability to create complex financial models and reportsExcellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to effectively interact at all levels within the organization and with external customers.Must have
advanced
proficiency with MS Excel and Midsize ERP SystemsMust have
advanced
knowledge of dynamic array formulas in MS ExcelAbility and willingness to maintain confidentialityAbility to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficientlyDetail-Oriented skillsCan display a positive attitude in discussion, including if there are conflicts* Must be a US Citizen or authorized to work in the US
