We are a distributed team with clusters in New York, San Francisco, Tel-Aviv, and Manchester.About The RoleWe're looking for a passionate Product Manager, Developer Experience, to join our growing team and play a key role in shaping the future of our industry-leading vector database platform.In This Role, You WillConceive and execute on a product vision and strategy for our developer API including SDKs and integrations with 3rd party vendors and frameworks.Design intuitive and developer-friendly API interfaces, SDKs, and documentation experiences.Define and execute a roadmap for the SDK/API engineering team by aligning with Pinecone’s strategic objectives and developer needs.Conduct user research by engaging directly with developers through interviews, surveys, forum participation, and more to understand their pain points and requirements.Analyze API usage data and feedback to measure product success and uncover new opportunities.Advocate for the developer throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring their voice is heard in all product decisions.Craft compelling messaging and content that resonates with the developer audience.Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create developer-focused initiatives, events, and programs.Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and innovations in developer tools and industry best practices.Requirements2+ years of professional software engineering experience or bachelor's degree in computer science.2+ years of product management experience.Understanding of developer needs and familiarity with APIs/SDKs, and developer tools.Excellent communication skills to convey research findings and product recommendations to non-technical peers and leaders.Experience gathering feedback, input and data from users and running beta tests.Proficiency in SQL and experience analyzing, interpreting, and leveraging data to make strategic, business decisions.
