Responsible and accountable for the strategic leadership of a specified team of Branch Operations Districts within Branch Operations including, but not limited to the development and financial, safety, and talent management performance of the service/installation organizations. The role has multiple geographies along with specific commercial responsibilities within the Branch Operations business.PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversees all assigned districts activities to assist Hussmann in meeting strategic goals. Will direct and supervise the activity of outside subject matter experts, such as District Managers and Account Managers. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Partners effectively with operations management in the field and other functional areas. The Director will be responsible for the key deliverables for the assigned areas including long range and annual planning, periodic forecasting, and monthly and yearly business review preparation.The Director will continually monitor and advise leadership and senior management on operating results and trends, ensuring performance to communicated commitments.Key Responsibilities:Work with the business leaders to develop key partnerships throughout the assigned segments and strategic accounts teams in accordance with the organization’s long-range plan and annual operating plans that most profitably meets customer needs while assuring continuous market share gain.Provide analysis, critique, and explanation of monthly operating resultsCommunicate recommendations to the Vice President of Branch OperationsDevelop, form, and execute a high functioning organization in a cost effective manner with a focus on standardization, efficiency and analyticsProvide clear reporting and analytics on costs and highlight areas of focus to drive cost efficienciesSupport cost optimization processes across assigned segments and provide clear reporting and analytics to ensure we are on track to our objectives and cost targetsEnsure timely and complete feedback provided to all direct reports, which will enable them to improve their overall performance and contribution to HussmannIn all areas of responsibility, be responsible for providing full compliance with all Hussmann policy and safety guidelines which include ensuring subordinate staff are aware of the policies and that their responsibilities and actions comply with and support this policiesLead and drive our Safety culture and operational SCIP plans by ensuring a ‘Safety First’ & ‘Get Home Safely’ mentality across the business. Work collaboratively with our Safety team, Leadership teams, and Field Team to achieve and improve our Annual Safety Plans on an annual basis.Lead specific Mergers & Acquisition projects and other Strategic projects as requested.Support current and develop new partnerships within the distribution and contracting networks to support the branch performance and ability to grow the business and generate higher ROI.Lead a combined P&L of $100-150M, with multiple geographies.Provide cross-functional leadership to communicate and align the districts with specific business requirements, priorities, direction, performance, etc. Motivate and build a high-performance team to achieve branch operation goals. Use performance management principles to drive performance.Develop and provide leadership to a team of highly effective managers to achieve continued profitability and operational improvements. Leverage performance metrics within the business and drive our Goal Deployment Process, Annual Operation Plan, and Performance Management Process to drive accountability to the appropriate levels of the organization.Ensure that our partnerships within the business (Human Resources, Finance, Equipment, Marketing, Talent Management, etc) exhibit healthy Hussmann Behaviors and continue to move our business forward towards our Mid Term Plan Goals.Commercial Responsibility: Lead specific commercial elements of the business to include but not limited to Strategic Accounts & SAM Opportunities, Scientific accounts, Key Equipment relationships within the district, Hussmann Equipment collaboration, StoreConnect opportunities, and additional commercial opportunities to align and growth our overall Hussmann business.Responsible for the performance of other tasks related to this position as they are assigned by cognizant managementEducation Requirement:Bachelor’s Degree PreferredMinimum Years of Experience:8+ years minimum within Marketing, Engineering, Business Development or Leadership role in a remote Branch Based business that includes P&L accountability.Additional Requirements:‘Safety First’ mentality with demonstrated ability to drive a successful Safety culture.Analytical mind, strong business and financial acumen including the ability to build business plans.Strong tactical and strategic skills required.Demonstrated ability to drive revenue and profitability performance.Strong motivational, organizational, written and oral communication, presentation and interpersonal skillsExcellent relationship building skills, with the ability to understand market needs and collaborate with internal and external team players.Ability to motivate, build, and develop a high-performance team.Experience optimizing internal processes preferred.Knowledge of Hussmann, Hussmann’s products, and Food Retail industry preferredTravel minimum of 50%.Our organization offers benefits that are the best fit for you at every stage of your career:Comprehensive Insurance Plans: Health, Dental and Vision, 401k with Company Matching Contribution, Discretionary 401k Company Contribution, Tuition Reimbursement Program, Life/Disability Insurance, Family Leave, Panasonic Employee Discounts, Paid Vacation and Holidays, Wellness Program, Identity Protection, Community Stewardship, Employee Assistance Program and moreHussmann is a subsidiary of Panasonic USA.
