NAPCO Security Technologies, Inc ., headquartered in Amityville, Long Island NY, is a world-wide leader in the manufacturing of electronic security systems for over 45 years has a full time opening for a PCB Design Engineer to join our growing Engineering team.
Responsibilities/Requirements:Mid to senior level PADS PCB design engineer capable of managing multiple priorities.Skilled with high-speed digital, analog, power, and RF layout principlesProficiency with 2-4-6-layer PCB designs, symbol creations and design library management.Proficiency with PCB schematic capture and design library management.Layout experience from DC to 1GHz; Antenna design a plus.Capable of mixed SMT and through-hole technologies, along with fine pitch, BGA, >0402, 4-4 trace pitch.Must track board and schematic revisions to create process part sheets and ECNs.Must be able to create multi-board panel fab drawings to match vendor panel sizes.Design to meet FCC/CE/UL/ETL.Ability to search and select components and alternate parts.Capable of answering PCB vendor fabrication questions.Capable of supporting our in-house contract manufacturer production questions.A minimum of 5 years of experience in a PCB Design capacity.
