Job Description

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and Wake Forest University School of Medicine is seeking an open rank full time orthopaedic surgeon with significant arthroplasty experience and subspeciality training in either oncology, trauma, or adult reconstruction in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Candidates with one fellowship and appropriate skill set will also be considered.

The ideal candidate is able to treat conditions related to orthopaedic trauma, arthroplasty and/or oncology with a strong focus on complex arthroplasty.Teaching Opportunities:

Orthopaedic resident and fellow teaching, clinical and laboratory research opportunitiesCollaboration:

4 trauma faculty, 6 arthroplasty and 3 oncology faculty partners in Department with over 90 total faculty in DepartmentCall Expectations:

Call expectations in alignment with other orthopaedic surgeons not to exceed 4-6 nights per month general orthopaedic call at a level one trauma center.Support:

Certification:

Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery with fellowship training in trauma, arthroplasty, oncology or single fellowship candidates with high level of comfort in arthroplasty, oncology and/or trauma will be considered.License:

With over 25 academic locations, 3 research laboratories, 90 faculty, 2 residencies and 9 fellowships, we have a wide range of clinical, educational and research complements.

Our subspecialty Orthopaedic surgeons provided compassionate, high-quality medical care to patients.
