Job Summary

As a Vice President of Gaming, you will direct and manage the operations of Slots and Table Games.

Duties And Responsibilities

Foster an environment that embodies Bally’s Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun-filled, entertaining atmosphere.

Enthusiastically promote Bally’s customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations.

Formulates and administers assigned department strategies, policies and procedures.

Ensures compliance with all regulatory controls both internal and external including but not limited to state and federal laws and the Illinois State Gaming Commission regulations.

Responsible for all aspects of live table games and slots operation of the casino.

Safeguarding company assets located within the casino department.

Establishing and enforcing rules and regulations of the casino that comply with IGB regulations.

Planning and directing staffing, training and development of casino operations personnel.

Forecasting and financial analysis of the department.

Plan and manage business growth.

Prepares budget and manages department to maximize revenues and control expenses.

Effectively handles customer disputes while maintaining the security and integrity of the games and customer satisfaction.

Designs slot floor and table games layout and makes periodic adjustments to meet business objectives and customer preferences.

Analyzes slot data and table games performance and makes necessary changes to improve business objectives.

Works closely with all operational and administrative departments to support property and company objectives.

Adhere to, interpret, support, and explain established company policies and procedures as well as applicable local, state, federal and other regulatory procedures.

Advises and keeps General Manager informed of all relevant operational issues affecting the property.

Ensures performance and productivity are monitored in assigned areas of responsibility.

Fosters and maintains positive team member relations in a supportive environment and interfaces with other departments to ensure a harmonious working relationship.

Applies leadership skills required to motivate staff and attain a high level of productivity and accountability.

Ability to extend complimentary services in accordance with the approved comp matrix.

Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Seven to ten progressive gaming leadership experience (Slots and Table Games).

Strong problem solving, mediation, coaching, and consulting skills.

Knowledge of table games math, procedures, game protection, regulations, and training requirements.

Knowledge of table games, ie: blackjack, craps, roulette, baccarat and specialty games.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Ability to communicate with Team members and guests.

Ability to be a team player.

Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process.

Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays.

Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.

Must be 21 years of age or older.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to stand for extended periods of time, see, walk, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.

Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Must be able to identify colors.

Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
