Join one of the nations largest, most respected health systems and experience what it means to live well. Advocate Health is seeking an Emergency Medical Services Physician to join our physician-led medical group and serve its patients at Aurora Medical Center in Sheboygan, WI.
This role has EMS Responsibilities:
- Full Time Employed - .5FTE as an EMS Medical Director and .5FTE as ED Physician
- Join an active EMS team, including an existing EMS physician, EMS executive director, and several well-seasoned EMS educators
- Opportunity to participate in county public health program
- Tactical EMS involvement with both local and federal agencies
- Oversee two county 911 center EMD programs
- Field response vehicles to provide real time education and oversight
- Participate in mass gathering medicine for events such as Milwaukee Brewers and Milwaukee Summerfest
- Engage in simulation program with variety of high fidelity simulators
Position Highlights:
- 30K annual ED visits
- High Acuity Tertiary care center
- Well-Staffed- Averaging less than 1.8 pts per hour
- See a wide variety of cases in a diverse patient population
- Join a very close-knit group of emergency medicine physicians
- Approximately 65 hours per month staffing in the ED with a mix of 8 and 12-hour shifts
- Dedicated Nocturnist- Very few Night Shifts
- Experienced, supportive, and innovative emergency medicine team
- Supportive specialists available in all specialties
- Large primary care base with strong interface
- This position will offer a comprehensive benefits package, paid occurrence-based medical liability insurance and a relocation reimbursement
