Position Information:
The part time Parts Delivery Driver delivers parts and equipment to customers and vendors. This position interacts with the Parts Manager, Parts Sales, and customers/vendors daily.

Greet every customer, every dayMaintain high ethical standards when dealing with customers, co-workers and vendorsPut safety first. Adhere to all Safety Policies, Procedures and Personal Protective Equipment standardsEnsure Customer service is a priority, ensure timely serviceCommunicate delays to DispatchMaintain safety when driving and delivering, taking care to back into customer lots and avoid blocking customer garage doorsFollow all reporting guidelines set on vehicle status.Report needs and concerns on provided forms and to supervisor as they ariseStage orders and stock truck to delivery expectationsCheck fluid levels, and log mileage daily on provided device or manifestUtilize fleet management tools to scan invoices and validate order vs picked partsMaintain communication through any company devices assignedListen and relay feedback to wholesale team to provide exceptional customer serviceObserve customer, inform sales team of competition and other possible opportunitiesAlert team to market changes, i.e. new shop in market or new competition in established areaAsk for applicable returns every visitReturn customer credit sheets for processed returnsMonitor customer returns area for changes in competition and inform wholesale team of opportunitiesMaintain a safe and clean workspace, as well as ensuring the entire facility is orderly, clean and free of hazards
Requirements
Qualifications:
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Valid Driver's license in state of residence and a good driving record. Ability to use computer and calculator. Will be trained on parts department's computer inventory system. Ability to drive safely. Ability to communicate well orally and in writing with customers, vendors, and other contacts. Professional personal appearance.
Working Conditions:
This is a physically demanding position. The Parts Delivery Driver will load, unload and drive company provided delivery vehicles each shift lifting parts weighting 75 pounds several times a day and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Will be required to wear a dealership uniform at all times.
