Mid to Sr. Level Software Engineer
in San Diego, CA. This position will support the development and analysis of technical and programmatic artifacts and higher echelon guidance to deliver integrated, interoperable, and aligned Information Warfare (IW) Systems of Systems (SoS) capabilities across multiple mission areas and domains. Individual will support SoS integration and portfolio management of IW capabilities. This position supports our Navy customer and offers exceptional upside potential.
Established in 2002, The Marlin Alliance is seeking to hire highly skilled individuals to support mission critical projects within the Navy. We are looking for motivated individuals to lead and support digital transformation, data science and analytics, and automation projects for variety of Navy clients. Individuals must be able to function in a fast-paced work environment and able to adapt quickly to rapidly changing requirements and technologies. Using your comprehensive knowledge of various technologies, you will design, develop, and implement solutions to support Navy mission owners in their digital transformation journey. Primary Responsibilities: • Analysis of program acquisition strategies and documentation.• Coordination across various capability areas.• Mission/Domain analysis and technical evaluations to identify alignment gaps and opportunities.• POM issue analysis and prioritization.• Review engineering and technical standards for applicability to the PEO C4I portfolio.• Development and support for PEO C4I Portfolio capability roadmaps. Qualifications and Requirements: • Expertise with the PEO C4I Portfolio • Sufficient familiarity with DoD Acquisition processes and procedures to assess soundness of program acquisition strategies and adherence to higher level guidance.• Prior military or civilian experience in a Navy warfare area.• Sufficient technical knowledge and background to understand and map SoS requirements to the PEO C4I portfolio.• Knowledge of the PPBE process - primarily to evaluate POM issue justification and evaluation against SoS and portfolio gaps.• Knowledge in capability road-mapping.• Ability to work independently, while working across a diverse team to develop, integrate and inform PEO TD guidance and decisions.• Familiarity with Security Classification Guidance Standards .• Holds a Top Secret (SCI) clearance. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud-based database platforms (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database). Knowledge of database performance monitoring and tuning tools. Familiarity with data warehousing and business intelligence concepts. Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator).
