Software Management and Governance will
be responsible for implementing and managing a robust end-to-end lifecycle and governance process for software assets that end-users deploy on their workstations.The right individual will work with various stakeholder communities across the organization including developers, business teams, EUC engineering, certification & packaging teams to ensure effective inventory and lifecycle management of EUC software assets.Job ResponsibilitiesEstablish a robust and sustainable governance process to manage lifecycle including license management of workstation deployed software assets.Work with stakeholders including Risk, Control and Info Security to establish and communicate policies and acceptable use practices for end-user software assets, including but not limited to Open-Source software and Developer tools.Enforce adherence to policies.Work with EUC Engineering, Data Loss Prevention and other teams to implement technical and process controls around deployment of software assets to workstations.Develop/enhance and maintain a catalogue for approved EUC software assets.Design and implement controls for the prevention, detection and management/remediation of unauthorized software from workstations.Establish monitoring, audit and remediation practices for deployed EUC software assets. Perform periodic assessments and audit to ensure compliance with controls and acceptable use policies.Collaborate with peer teams to implement automation detection and remediation/removal of unauthorized EUC software assets.Help improve ITAM/CMDB process for EUC software assets.Skills and Experience15+ years of overall experience; 10+ years of relevant experienceProven experience setting up governance frameworks within financial services organizations especially in IT aligned roles.Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing change policies in medium to large organizational settings.Strong Project Management experienceGood hands-on experience on ServiceNow platformExcellent communications and presentation skills.
