As the Information Security Manager for our Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company, you will play a critical role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our customers’ data and our SaaS platform. You will lead our information security initiatives, develop and implement security policies and procedures, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to mitigate security risks and maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations.Job Responsibilities:

Information Security Strategy:Develop and execute an information security strategy aligned with industry best practices.Identify emerging security threats and vulnerabilities and recommend proactive measures to mitigate risks.Define security metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of security controls and drive continuous improvement.Security Policies and Procedures:Establish and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures to safeguard sensitive data and protect against unauthorized access.Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).Implement controls for data encryption, access control, identity management, and incident response to maintain a robust security posture.Security Awareness and Training:Promote a culture of security awareness and compliance throughout the organization through training, education, and awareness campaigns.Provide guidance and support to employees on security best practices, policies, and procedures.Conduct security awareness training sessions to increase understanding of security risks and responsibilities.Incident Response and Risk Management:Maintain incident response plans and procedures to effectively respond to security incidents and breaches.Lead incident response activities, including investigation, containment, remediation, and communication.Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and prioritize security risks, and implement appropriate controls and mitigation strategies.Compliance and Auditing:Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and contractual obligations.Participate in external audits and assessments, providing documentation and evidence as needed.Respond to customer inquiries and requests related to security and compliance.Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).Proven experience in information security management, preferably in a SaaS environment.Knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, GDPR, SOC2, etc.).Experience with cloud security principles and best practices, particularly in Azure.Strong understanding of security technologies and controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption, and multi-factor authentication.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to drive initiatives to completion.Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are preferred.Reports To:
