This role is integral to the executive leadership team and is responsible for overseeing the entire classroom experience, including the development and implementation of holistic lesson plans, room set-up, and parent communications. The successful candidate will lead the continual improvement of the curriculum, ensure the professional development of teachers, establish assessment and evaluation systems, and foster community engagement. They will also be expected to stay current with early childhood education trends and integrate new methodologies to enhance the teaching and learning experience. The ideal candidate for the Head of Academics position is a transformational leader with a proven track record in early childhood education and curriculum development. They should have experience in creating and implementing best practices for the classroom, as well as designing and measuring the impact of training programs in a multi-site environment. Teaching experience and the ability to collaborate with educators are essential, as is the skill to be an advocate for education both internally and externally.
