The Strategic Account Manager role – Wealth is a unique and pivotal role in advancing the relationship with our partners in Wealth as a key strategic relationship. This role requires a combination of sales expertise, financial acumen and strong communication skills.Responsibilities include:
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue targets within Wealth.Identify and prioritize opportunities for growth.Align with distribution to achieve revenue targets.Maintain and deepen relationships with the Northern Trust Wealth Investment Practice to maximize coverage with product, due diligence, advisory sales leadership, operations and logistics.Develop a full understanding/articulation of the services NTAM provides to wealth and conduct systematic review of services/products/pricing and SLA’s.Exhibit a deep expertise with product and portfolio construction across fixed income, equities, and alternatives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, marketing and operations to ensure alignment and delivery of solutions that meet Wealth needs.Negotiate fee and pricing agreements to ensure profitability and sustainable growth for Northern Trust.Stay abreast of industry regulations, compliance requirements and market dynamics to inform strategic decision making and mitigate risk.Requirements:
Proven track record of success in sales, account management and business development within the financial services industry.Strong understanding of financial products and services.15+ years financial services experience.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.Prefer advanced degree or designations such as CFA, CAIA, CIMA, CFP, CPA.Working with Us:
