TaxAct is hiring a

Senior Product Manager

that is responsible for owning business objectives, involving the complete product life-cycle strategy and high-quality delivery of new products/enhancements. Defines the product roadmap based on customer needs, business objectives and technology trends in support of the overall TaxAct product strategy. Inspires a cross-functional Product Team of designers, engineers and other partners to start with deep customer empathy to rapidly test hypotheses and deliver innovative solutions for customers.Responsibilities

Promote a customer-focused environment to deliver innovative products and servicesDemonstrated leadership establishing and evangelizing a vision of success as well as the objectives and key results needed for it to be achievedLead the ideation, experimentation, and development of customer experiences for TaxActOwn the product roadmap, prioritizing work, and make appropriate trade-offsLeverages and analyzes data to uncover insights and product performanceIdentifying opportunities by market trends, customer insights and competitive analysisStrong collaborator who facilitates and leads across teams of UX/UI, engineering, design, marketing, and other stakeholdersCommunicates with impact and clarity across all levels of the organization – team, peers, stakeholders and senior leadersHave the ability to partner with legal, compliance and other stakeholders to understand constraints and distill requirements from stakeholders.Other job duties as definedEducation And Experience

Bachelor’s degree5-7 years of Product Management work experience in a software company, financial services company, or equivalent experienceSuccessful history of delivering customer-driven products as a Senior Product ManagerDemonstrates strong problem solving, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trendsDetail-oriented with a clear ability to work independently under management/time pressureKnowledge of Agile software development methodologiesDemonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skillsResourceful, team player, high energy and flexible. Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and accuracyDesire to remain current with the latest technologies and best practicesDemonstrated experience with implementing the Design Thinking methodOther job duties as definedCOMPETENCIES
