Department OverviewMotorola's presence in the Video Security and Access control space has been expanding rapidly since 2018. Since entering we play a pivotal role in helping bring some of the most advanced video security and access control solutions to the market. For the last 96 years, Motorola Solutions has been making the world a safer place through constant innovation, and this portion of our portfolio takes it a step further by designing and delivering a broad range of high-quality security solutions, products, and systems that make our communities safer.Job Description
Motorola Solutions is building talent pipelines to meet future hiring demands. This is a pipeline role, while there is not an immediate opening, we want to build relationships with prospective candidates like you. If your background is a match to our requirements, we'll follow up with an exploratory conversation
These roles will be responsible for geographic regions and their surrounding markets, it is not mandatory, but preferred that you live in or near a territory that you will be supporting
What these roles do:Develop new business with end customers with emphasis on new account developmentDrive territory engagement from trade shows, product demos/trainings, to lunch & learnsCreate and manage a healthy sales funnelPartner with distributors, integrators, and end users to drive sales in the territoryProspecting on a daily basis using all tools available will be key to the success of this positionAttain "Trusted Advisor" status with customers and Channel Partners to enable increased System and BusinessBe a problem solver for partners (helping with quotes, proposals or helping troubleshoot objections)Work Cross Functionally with other departmentsWeekly and Quarterly Reporting around pipelines, partner pipelines and forecastingMaintain best practices while working inside the CRM (Salesforce)Travel extensively throughout the territory and occasional travel within North AmericaWhat would make you a good fit:
