The Driver is responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and cleanliness of company vehicles . While not driving this position will also fill in to help with classroom needs helping with coverage.Job responsibilities include:* Transports clients to and from Pingree* Follows the safest and most efficient assigned route* Knows the routes, location of stops, and the clients who board or exit at each stop* Coordinates with and supports employees who accompany clients and assists with behavior management on the vehicle* Performs routine maintenance as required* Maintains interior and exterior vehicle cleanliness* Follows emergency procedures and reports incidents as required* Maintains required transportation records* If applicable, follows all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, Commercial Drivers License (CDL) rules and other local transportation regulations as applicable**Required Qualifications******Education***** High School diploma or equivalent****Licenses/Certifications***** Current drivers license; must be 21**Preferred Qualifications*** Previous passenger transportation experience* Working with children in classroom setting with behavioral or mental health programLearn more about Pingree by clicking**Qualifications****Skills****Behaviors****:****Motivations****:****Education****Experience****Licenses & Certifications**
