** Position Description****Warehouse Driver** Location **Salt Lake City** State/Territory **Utah** Description: Helix Electric of Nevada is currently hiring an **Warehouse Delivery Driver** to join our team in **Salt Lake City, UT!** The successful delivery driver will deliver materials and supplies from our shop warehouse to multiple jobsites daily.Helix Electric of Nevada is the largest non-union electrical contractor in Nevada and considered of the most successful electrical contracting companies in the nation. Helix has expertise with projects in virtually every field of Electrical Construction - Design/Build Services, Commercial Developments, Multi-Family, Mix-Use, and Industrial, as well as Government, Institutional, Communications and Utility projects.**Helix Offers:*** Full-time, stable career with top competitive wages* 100% employer paid employee medical, dental, and life insurance benefits* Rich 401K contributions with aggressive vested schedule* Vacation Time, Sick Time, and Paid Holidays* Helix University training and development programs offered for free to our employees* A career path with opportunities for advancement and growth**Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:*** Execute the daily responsibilities of getting the correct material to the job sites that are requesting it in a safe and timely manner* Ensure truck is inspected / serviced on a weekly / monthly basis to reduce the risk of potential downtime.* Follow all safety policies, processes, and instructions so that work is carried out in a safe and consistent manner.* Maintain a high level of customer service with Superintendents / Leads in the field to ensure a high level of satisfaction with each delivery.* Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles* Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries* Operate equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, and forklifts* Assist in the tool department as needed* Deliveries to jobsites as needed* Inventory control**Requirements:*** Forklift qualified* Experience driving 5-ton truck with air brakes* High School Diploma or equivalent* Valid Nevada Drivers License* *Clean Driving Record** Clean Background as there will be deliveries to military bases* Be able to communicate effectively through both written and verbal communication* Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws* Oragnized, structured, and computer literate* Ability to lift 60 lbs, walk and stand for long periods of time*Helix Electric is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer committed to diversity in our workforce.
