Is expected to be the third level support for the Ryder IT Technical Svc Desk for any end user or site issues requiring assistance beyond the service desk's capability. Has responsibility for the identification of hardware or software technical problems and malfunctions related to any items of the network. Escalates to the appropriate carrier as required to resolve issues. Monitor and control infrastructure performance in the areas of response, throughput, and availability.Essential FunctionsNetwork upgrades, and routine hardware configurationMonitor and control network performance in the areas of response, throughput, and availabilityRemedy incident ticket problem resolutionParticipate in 24x7 on-call rotationImplement network architectures, including LAN, WLAN and WANCorporate Network Services administration- DNS, DHCP, AuthenticationCreates and maintains comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks
