We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of E-Commerce to spearhead our client's online retail operations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving digital growth and optimizing online sales channels in the retail sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce strategies to maximize revenue and profitabilityOversee the day-to-day management of our online store, ensuring seamless user experience and operational efficiencyLead cross-functional teams to align e-commerce initiatives with broader business objectivesAnalyze key performance indicators and market trends to inform data-driven decisionsSpearhead innovative digital marketing campaigns to drive traffic and increase conversionsOptimize product presentation and site navigation to enhance customer engagementCollaborate with IT teams to implement and maintain robust e-commerce platformsManage relationships with third-party vendors and service providersDevelop and monitor e-commerce budgets and forecastsStay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practicesQualifications:
Proven experience in a senior e-commerce role within the retail industryMinimum of 8 years of relevant experience in e-commerce and digital retailBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferredStrong understanding of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, and social mediaExcellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data setsProficiency in e-commerce platforms and analytics toolsOutstanding leadership and team management abilitiesStrong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple initiativesThe successful candidate will be a forward-thinking leader capable of driving a brand's online presence to new heights in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
the individual's skill sets, experience and training;licensure and certification requirements;office location and other geographic considerations;other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
