Full Visibility is seeking an
Oracle Database Administrator
to work in Washington, D.C. Candidate must possess an active
Top Secret
clearance.
The Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) will be responsible for database operations and maintenance, installation and configuration, administration, and other technical responsibilities related to Oracle databases. A successful candidate will have experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, testing, upgrading, and maintaining Oracle databases, database administration for existing and future database systems, and implement database backup and disaster recovery routines. The DBA will work closely with the developer team on database operations, patches, and upgrades; provide administration of access control; and monitor the databases' storage needs to ensure it is running efficiently. The successful candidate will support data migration from legacy systems into the Oracle database, using Oracle Data Pump Export. The DBA should be familiar with the Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs) and Certification & Accreditation (C&A) activities regarding security of databases.

Requirements Active Top Secret Clearance At least five (5+) years of experience working as an Oracle Database Administrator Experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and upgrading Oracle databases Knowledge of planning, designing, and testing Oracle database backup and disaster recovery routines Ability to provide technical and functional analysis of the database environment Experience implementing and maintaining database security and compliance with DISA STIGs, Certification & Accreditation Experience with access controls, access management Experience supporting data migration, using tools such as Data Pump Export; space allocation Preferred Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communicator, ability to communicate with leadership and non-technical audiences Critical thinker with a problem-solving mindset
