Job Summary:

As a Security Shift Manager, you will provide strategic direction and guidance to the Security function and activities to increase customer satisfaction and ensure internal controls and safety measures are effectively enforced. You will become the liaison with federal, state, and local law enforcement and emergency agencies. You will exercise good judgment in the review of circumstances and incidents to determine appropriate actions within the limits of policies, procedures, and protocol.

Enthusiastically promote Bally's customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations

Responsible for the overall security operations in the absence of the Director of Public Safety

Establish, implement, and enforce policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements, Company initiatives, and organizational goals

Select, train, and develop team members through education, training, coaching, and corrective action

Review, investigate, and implement corrective plans on all incident, medical, and surveillance reports to ensure departmental compliance with internal controls, policies, and all applicable regulations

In the absence of, or when directed by the Director of Public Safety, perform system administration to the Electronic Key Control System

Perform duties and responsibilities associated with the IGB statewide voluntary Self-Exclusion Program as

Assist in arrests or physically restraining a resistant individual as needed

Support the overall integrity of gaming at the casino

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent with five years of law enforcement, security, or casino security-related experience is required

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must have the ability to interact with a variety of people

Must have flexible availability with scheduling, including shifts and days off

Must be able to adapt and thrive in a fluid, high-stress, and fast-paced environment

Must have outstanding organizational skills

Must be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Requires strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Must be 21 years of age or older

Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board

Physical Demands:

Frequently required to walk, run, kneel, stretch, push, twist, bend, and lift

Requires visual acuity to perform close-up activities and peripheral oversight

Requires manual dexterity to operate a keyboard

Must be able to read, speak, and correspond in the English language

Work Environment:

The work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.
