Our team, Worldwide Amazon Stores Finance Automation & Standardization, is at the center of driving finance transformation for the largest business inside Amazon. We are seeking a Senior Product Manager who will partner with our engineering team to build our flagship financial reporting product that will be used by key decision makers to understand the financial performance of the overall Stores business. You will own the product vision, the strategy and the prioritization that reflects the voice of the customers. You will be responsible for driving product innovations and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders across finance, business and tech teams. Cross-team coordination, product sense and executive presentation skills are essential. You will have end to end ownership - all the way from defining the strategy to measuring metrics to monitoring day to day progress of this product. The ideal candidate is a creative, demonstrated product professional with background in building financial reporting & analytics products. This is also an ideal opportunity for strong business minded EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) consultants looking to get into formal product management.

Key job responsibilities

Develop and drive product vision and strategy in alignment with the broader financial systems visionIncorporate the needs of a large and diverse set of customers into a prioritized product roadmapIdentify and execute product led finance process transformationBe the single threaded leader representing the product at various avenues and to various stakeholdersInfluence the tech design in partnership with engineering and making sure technology choices are aligned to customer needsIdentify and track the relevant product metrics to measure progress towards both customer impact and organizational goals

About The Team

Our team is the central product and tech team that supports the finance organization for the largest Amazon business, WW Amazon Stores. Our charter is to bring step function improvement in how finance operates through strategic technology infusion.

Basic Qualifications

7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experienceBachelor's degreeExperience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a productExperience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definitionExperience with end to end product deliveryExperience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a productExperience managing technical products or online servicesExperience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planningExperience in delivering products in financial systems and/or business intelligence space including analytics, reporting, planning and forecasting

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSightExperience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
