Your Opportunity as Utility 1, Sanitation - 2nd Shift
As a part of the Sanitation Team, you are responsible for several bakery manufacturing activities. You will be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, communicating, and working effectively in a team structure. You will flow to the work and assignment flexibility is critical within the sanitation utility category. Opportunities to operate, maintain, and sanitize our Pan Setter, Feeder, Packer/Carton, Packer/Cases, Shipping Stacker, Handler, Sanitor, Receiver, Palletizer, etc. All employees are expected to work safely, accurately complete assigned duties, and maintain GMP standards. You will also be part of the Food Defense Team.
Location:
Arkadelphia, AK Manufacturing Plant
Work Arrangements:
100% on-site, 2nd Shift, 8-hour shifts, 2 pm - 10 pm every weekend and rotating weekdays
Compensation Base Rate : $20.13, $1 shift premium (5 pm to 10 pm)
In this role you will:Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including complying with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) procedures.Maintains a clean and orderly environment to project the safety and health of others.May clean floors, lights, walls, windows, ceilings, restrooms, breakroom, coolers, wash rack, equipment, e.g., mixer, oven, hand truck, in various areas of the bakery.Properly clean and maintain housekeeping equipment.Follow procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transport to designated areas.Clean and sanitize one (1) line of equipment and environment pre- and post-production.Clean and police grounds.Reports all equipment issues to the supervisor or manager as soon as possible.Understands and complies with all safety procedures that apply to daily operations.Work safely; follow proper lock out/tag out procedure where applicable.Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, coworkers, etc.Adheres to safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation.May perform other duties not listed.Tools and Equipment.
All tools and equipment which are required to be used by the employees shall be supplied and kept in repair by the Employer at no cost to the employee. These items must be kept on the premises.

Willing to work 2nd shift hours and weekends.Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.Previous safety training preferred.Previous sanitation experience preferred.Prior food industry experience a plus.Familiarity with bakery equipment preferred.Excellent communication skills.Work Environment
This job operates in a manufacturing environment. The noise level in the work environment and manufacturing sites can be loud.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
