Job Summary:
The Manager of Data and Analytics Engineering is responsible for overseeing the data and analytical solution architecture to support our healthcare organization's goals. The position is critical in designing, implementing, and managing the data and analytics architecture and engineering processes to support data-driven decision-making and advanced analytics. Through leadership of a team of data and analytic engineers, provides guidance, mentoring, and coaching to ensure high-quality output and professional growth.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
Five (5) years of relevant experience including three or more years in a formal or informal leader position is required.
Experience in architecting, implementing, and managing a Cloud-based Data and Analytics Platform is preferred. Experience with Epic System (EMR) Data and Analytic Platform is Preferred. Experience in Healthcare Industry is Preferred. Experience with Tech enablement for Machine Learning / AI initiatives is preferred. Formal Leadership experience is preferred.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, data engineering, information systems, software engineering or related field is required.
SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:
Knowledge of Data Mesh Principles is preferred.
